Great service!! but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with a chicken neck on my plate. I was disappointed with the chicken dish. Piri Piri is supposed to be on the spicey side, but found it hard to feel any kind of heat. I had a healthy plate of bones at the end. For nearly 11 euros, I found it a bit expensive for the (bones excluded) protein on the plate, overcooked and on the dry side. Chicken is cut into small pieces which is why it drys out when fried. Possibly a Piri piri Sauce glaze would help? The home made potato wedges were lovely, and salad was bland with no dressing or condiments to dress it on my own. Having said that, the waiters are super! The ambience is excellent . Drinks and service also good. Recommended restaurant, I would go back for sure, but choose something else if you like a hearty spicey chicken dish.

I've known Café Luso for over 22 years. At that time the family was just starting out. And even then you were impressed with an incredibly nice atmosphere and simple and honest cuisine. It stayed that way, although I realized on my last visit that I should just come more often. In the evening, even in Corona times, you can sit incredibly relaxed on the outdoor terrace and enjoy the last rays of sunshine. The service, lastly in the form of 2 employees, was exceptionally friendly and also very quick. The food is simple (I always noticed it in Portugal) but good and plentiful. I had the bitoque, a schnitzel with fried egg, chips and salad. The red house wine is also very pleasant. The stay is made perfect by the fair prices. My Bitoque z. B. is offered for € 10.90. I will definitely increase the frequency of visits.

Super small cozy and with little schnick decorated restaurant. Just great. The highlight here is the service, always attentive, friendly and always a smile on the lips. The food is very good in taste and in the end it is rounded off with a Portuguese espresso. Will definitely come back. Thank you for the great evening.

I went there this afternoon with my wife and Son....Really lovely restaurant...Very big welcome from the lady owner..The food was very good...The prawns to start were lovely ( but they should warm the dish up) My wife had the fish as a main course and was very happy...my son and I had the Chicken piri piri...we were a little disappointed as it was not cooked in the tradition kind of bbq grilled way, it was like it had been deep fried the potatoes in onion was woww..The desert was amazing the Pastel de Nata was wowww We took some home with us... The price was pretty normal and worth it...We will go back, but not have the chicken!!!

I have never eaten here and was disappointed! The staff is super friendly and accommodating .. you do not feel like you are in a bistro / restaurant, but as you would go out to dine with friends. Happy again and again =)

Very nice service and the food and drinks were good too.

Nice and simple Portuguese, small, without much adornment. Has been there for 20 years..so good! Young and old together, in a normal neighborhood. Simple dishes with taste. Friendly service, also have different beers, both German and Portuguese Portuguese wines. Clean toilets, also always nice!

Food was very tasty, the service was excellent. The one problem I encounter was that the food was a bit oily.
